Hi
I am looking for a remote that is easy to be used by elderly people - it should have good size buttons, a good touch and feel when pressing the buttons, easy to be used (no screen oder touch screen) and of above average design and quality. ANd ideally also backlight option. Programmable for minimum 2 devices - better 3-5. And of course JP compatible
I checked the OFA homepage, but there is nothing suitable.
Where else can I look for remotes that can be programmed with JP?
Thanks!
Which remote is easy to be used by elderly and valuable

This is a common request, but unfortunately, there isn't a suitable remote.

I mean that the remote should represent a high-class equipment.
eg some kind of stylish design, high-gloss surface, even aluminium like finish is fine, have some - even additional - weight
But as I learned from remote-central, there is none for that price.
So I will have to pay more - I understand
Whats the next best remote that us computer programmable with only /mainly hard buttons with the lowest price?
I have now looked around alot and found the new RF50
Is this computer programmable with JP?
Thanks again

Actually there are a few, some of the European Kameleons can be pretty expensive.
Clara, I think you should look at the old "Harmony Zapper" (or Harmony 745, as it's now called).
As you can see from the pic below, it only has 13 buttons, you need to scroll through options on the screen to get the desired results.
Here's a review at Remote Central:

And here's one on ebay:
