|
|
So I've been away from JP1 for a while and forgot how to do alot.
I still have multiple working remotes. But lost all the original files I saved.
I want to get some Upgrades out of IR and back into Remotemaster or keymap.
Is this possible? |

Greg's link shows you how to re-create your upgrades, however a better approach would be to check the file section to see if we have them here. You probably started by downloading upgrades in the first place, and if you created them yourself by learning from your original remotes, hopefully you loaded copies of them here, so either way you're covered.
The advantage of starting with a regular upgrade file is that you have all the correct function names, plus hopefully you'll have some functions that weren't loaded into the remote. _________________ Rob

Actually with all the combo and generic devices I had 2+ years ago I learned each and every function and made all my own upgrades as needed. (I never did finish 100% programming all 3 remotes). I don't think I uploaded them here. Perhaps I will this time
Since the remotes are still working, I can techincally just make IR file backups...
Regardless I've gotten IR and the Remotemaster working. So I was busy last night. |

Hopefully this is a "lessons learned" situation and you will indeed share your files this time, just think of it as "giving back" to the JP1 community. And you never know, you might be the JP1 user than benefits from the files next time! _________________ Rob
