I made so many ICT files, I don't think any had a complete correct set of codes. But I know the RMDU works, so I'll go with that.
Still not exactly sure where to enter all the data in IRP master. Up, for example, is 64 C 6, So 20 goes in D, and 64 goes in F. But S is greyed out (I assume that's where the 6 goes), and I don't know what to do with C (12).

Sorry, I should have left out the C numbers. That's a checksum, and IrMaster will compute it. Just fill in D and put the OBC into F.

Vicky,
Is there any way to find Ortek protocol (RCA PID 01ED) setup codes (assuming they exist) in the Lookup tool? If I search 01ED, I don't get Ortek. Is it actually a different PID?

Dave,
Apparently when OrtekMCE was first dealt with, we used PID 01ED as a custom PID. Subsequently UEI started to use 01ED for a different IR protocol- as is of course their right. The UEI 01ED is decoded by DecodeIR as Pioneer, but that is an incorrect decode. It is similar to NEC/Pioneer.
Code: Select all
01ED IRP is {40.0k,564}<1,-1|1,-3>(16,-8,D:8,S:8,F:8,F:4:4,~F:4,1,^108m,(16,-4,1,-3,1^108m)*)
The 4th byte is different, and the protocol uses a ditto, but not exactly the NEC1 ditto.
I'm not aware of any UEI PID that shoots OrtekMCE.
