Just talked to Doug from delcom.
He is testing the fix now.... unfortunately, this cannot be fixed in the USB driver... however it can be fixed in the IR.exe application.
I will keep you guys updated.

Not sure if delcom can fix the problem by releasing a new USB driver....

My NON-working JP1 USB cable is:
SN: 5695
Version: 11 3/23/2005
Any idea when a fix is going to be available?
After finally figuring out the KM and IR programs and tweaking the remote I can't get the the data uploaded. It's driving me crazy!
Plus my wife thinks I'm an idiot for spending all this $ and all I got so far is headaches.
Any help appreciated.

Doug at delcom was testing a fix yesterday, Not sure what the fix would be... it seems we need to modify IR.exe .... anyways, don't worry, this will be resolved.

So there is no way to fix this issue via software? We are limited to hardware replacement?

NEVER MIND!
Found this
driver and all is fine!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm having the same problem (Data read back differs from data written) using IR 8.04.
For years everything has been working fine but I got a new receiver and am now using a different laptop(Dell E6420). The problems I'm having integrating the new receiver are an issue for another post. I'd like to get IR working on the new laptop running Win 7 32 bit.
Tried all the Delcom drivers, currently using version 4.7.0.0
USB_WIN.EXE reports:
SerNo: 24107
Ver: 16 11/16/2005
This JP1 interface (slightly oversized black heatshrinked USB plug with 3' blue ribbon cable) works fine on my older laptop (Dell D830) running XP SP3.
What to do?
