Greg,

You are right! Sorry about that. I was totally forgetting how to set the duration on KM. (I'll edit/delete some of my posts that can confuse others.)

I'll take a cloer look on DRB's .IR file later today or so.

I built a matching KM upgrade (get it here), and the output KM generates is:
When I load this text file into KM 8.31 it is missing the second device/protocol and it's functions [dish network]. This makes me think that KM and RM are not producing the same results.

Or it just means Greg didn't add it to do his testing.

DRB,

The .IR file you posted has the 1994ex3 signature in it, but no extender image. This seems to be why it's not working.

What would the extender image be? Is it a text file I created when I installed the extender? Or is it a special RDF file? It's been a long time since I installed the extender and I have moved files around. However I can still load my old text file and that always works.

Thanks for any help.

I believe you used to be using 1994ex3 then, later did "clear upper memory" in IR, which destroys the extender that sits around $700 and higher addres.

Do either re-installing the extender on top your current image (you may have to remove the [Notes] section in the .IR file temporarily or extinstall would complain), or do the 981 reset and start over.

If I built new files using 1994ex3 would they work? Did I just destroy the extender in just this one IR file? This file I've been working on is a new one and I don't care if it can be saved.

The easy thing for me would be to open a new 15-1994ex3 file and start over fresh, but I don't want to waste the time if it is won't work.

I've been loading old text file that were built with the ext. and they seem to work.
