OK, installed that and checked it. Unfortunately it didn't match anything I had seen before so we can't use an existing one. I've made a start at https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=11225

Assuming it basically works, can you check EVERY single button and if it works and does the correct action, fair enough. If it is disabled, ignore it. But if it works and does something different, then tell me. And don't forget the Custom buttons, right click on the remote to access them.

So basically I need 2 lists:

1. Buttons that work but carry out an incorrect action and what the action is.

2. Functions that are missing.

Waiting patiently for an answer. This took a LOT of work so I would appreciate some feedback.

Very disappointing. This was one of the most difficult remotes to produce and we get no feedback

I emailed the user to let him know a response was desired. He emailed back to say that he's out of the country, but he will respond soon, so don't go deleting any files.

guys apologies for writing late, i had a death in the family and had to rush out of country for that.

the remote code which was provided did not helped much, i had more functions from what i was using which was the dvd player option with other code 10 and after using that here are the button mappings, hopefully you can fix it for me any any other using this

play button press once shows volume press again mute volume
stop button keeps changing channels
side arrow increas volume
center circle mute/unmute
menu below power button is power on and off

No idea where we go from here then. Those BIN files definately have the same codes you get if you select DVD Player > Other > Code 10 from the built in remotes.

hey just want to close the thread on my side by saying thanks for your efforts, i am still functional with the option to change channels and increase decrease volume,

some day when i purchase another box i will try and get in touch with rob to send him the remote if he is fine and may be we can get the exact codes to map the rest of the functions

i came back on this thread to let the owners of this site and other users know that i was able to get a fully functional remote.

i did not do anything special, all credit to this site but i need to write it back so that someone benefits from it. under the slingbox download code section of this site there is a bin file for ipmacro hd-100c.zip and i used the bins from that and my remote is working great, all keys work.

hopefully someone like me who use this device as iptv and have it connected to slingbox might want it controllable through sling and this advice will help him.
