Just an observation:

From the pictures, it appears to be identical (with the exception of the foil design) to the Denon RC-1068, shipped with several Denon AV Receivers like the AVR3808. (This RC lacks a proper JP1-connector, although a pogo pin adapter could probably be used too.)

Next to the two green arrow buttons are two red arrow buttons, the first red arrow button is the raw download button. (In the menu bar right below the "Tools" menu item).

You have to "activate" the "Raw Download" button on the Advnaced Menu first. Then there will be a Raw Download button in the top array of buttons as Rob described (in ALL screens) and on the General Tab, there will be a large Raw Download button in the center area.

Not on the current IR, we did away with those buttons remember? But thanks for reminding me that the advance check is still in there, I did look for it before posting but missed it the first time.

You could have replaced the other one by clicking on the EDIT button, but as you've created a new one, you can delete the other one by clicking on the "X" button next to the EDIT button. (top right corner).

Rob, I'm running IR 8.02 and I've got four BIG buttons across the center, just above the radio buttons for the interface selection over the General Notes pane but below the "Device Buttons" and "Other Settings" panes. They are:
"Download From Remote", "Upload To Remote", "Raw Download" and "Unsafe Upload". If there's a NEWER version of IR, I cannot find it.

EDIT: I just looked around a bit more, and those buttons are a Tools>Options... selection.

Yes, I kept looking for an option under Advanced and couldn't find it, but you're right, it's Tools > Options > Middle Buttons

I down loaded the file for my DVD player a Phillips DVDR3400, then try to select my remote it locks up asking to select a supported device, there is none available in the list and I cant get past it, then I have to close the process to get out of it. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

What is "it", is it the remote, IR.exe or RM?

Sorry about that, I can open the rdf in IR, when I load the file into RM it locks up, IR works with the RDF you provided,

The RDF is nowhere near ready for RM yet, starter RDFs are just good enough to let you download from the remote, there's a lot more work that needs to be done before it's up to the standard needed to create upgrades using RM.
