Did you return the Grundig or do you still have the remote ?
I stupidly threw away the box so i can't return it. Ultimately I'll probably ebay it but I'm in no hurry so will keep it until you are able to take a look at it for other people (actually if you do get it working I will probably ebay the phillips as the grundig is a better box!).
If you'd rather not bother don't worry!
