Hi !
I'm new in this forum. I lost my Elta 5.1 woofer remote control. I have a universal remote control (modele: URC22B) but no code match my Elta device. I tryed a quick search and found 2 codes (542, 454) that allow to power off the device but the others keys like volume+/- didn't work.
I don't know what's JP1. Am I in the right forum for my question? I hope it's a stuff that can be used to replace any kind or RC.
Thanks !
Best Regards !

Re: Lost my Woofer remote control
Since you weren't specific about which Elta sound system you had, I'm assuming that it is the Elta 8886 CLS. That was the consolation option which was presented to me while I searched the Logitech Harmony Database for a match. I recorded the IR signals from the respective device profile using our JP1 tools. Unfortunately, I don't know whether or not your remote is JP1 capable. Looking at the list of available remotes with our tools suggests that its not. The closest remote I found was the URC 11-4282B00 which doesn't seem like a very likely candidate.mijd wrote:Hi !

Nevertheless, here are the files which I created:

Sorry, I can't be of much other assistance. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can be of more assistance.
Remotes; JP1.2: Comcast URC-1067, JP1.3: Insignia NS-RC02U-10A, JP1.4 OARI06G, JP2.1: Cox URC-8820-MOTO (still trying to figure out how to make them self-aware.)

Re: Lost my Woofer remote control
Your URC22B remote is not a JP1 remote, so you can't use the files that eferz created for you with it.mijd wrote:I'm new in this forum. I lost my Elta 5.1 woofer remote control. I certainly agree there's no way to get your current universal remote to work with your Elta sound system. The problem is that your current remote is quite limited in functionality and can only use the included preset codes. However, there are better universal remotes which can be programmed or updated to work with your current (or any) audio system.mijd wrote:Thank You all. There Is no solution. I can't find a remote for my audio system. It seems that my Elta woofer is outdated and obsolete. I have to invest for a recent system presenting more features.
