I need a little help with the pause protocol. I cant seem to make it work. here is the link to the upload:

I am trying to make a 3 second delay using the aux device. I have made the pause protocol in special protocols and I think I am using it correctly but it wont delay. Thanks for the help!

IIRC, the Pause protocol in that extender never seemed to work correctly, and since it's so old, I don't believe that the extender zip is being maintained by anybody.

The standalone Pause protocol (available in RM) is much better, and can be used to replace the one that was automatically installed by the extender. Go to RM, select your remote, select Pause protocol and then copy and paste it from the output page into IR, replacing the existing Pause protocol.

I may be mistaken, but it is worth a try.
I believe that should help solve your problem.

Thanks, that did it. I had to use the pause (special) protocol. The pause (extended) would not work. Thanks again. I did not know that was available in RM. You learn something everyday!
