Is this a serious posting? You don't even list the remote you're trying to program, nor do you answer ANY of the questions that are suggested. Most of the template requires a little bit more than "yes" or "no" responses.

Hi
I've updated that I'm looking for a code for a slingbox device
as the sticky instructions state.
I've tested all the thomson files on the site with no success, I've searched for an image file to build the bin myself as I've done in the past could not find one that fit.
if no one can help me here i will buy the hardware and do it myself

I'm confused by this statement. How could you have tested all the Thomson files, if you haven't yet tried to build a bin file yourself? I'm wondering if maybe you don't really know how to use the device upgrade files found on this site to make Slingbox bin files.g.s wrote:I've tested all the thomson files on the site with no success, I've searched for an image file to build the bin myself as I've done in the past could not find one that fit.
If you find the right upgrade file, you won't need to buy any hardware.g.s wrote:if no one can help me here i will buy the hardware and do it myself
Have you tried this file for the Thomson DCI46GC:

So that confirms that you have downloaded the RM program and you know how to use it to create a BIN file from an RMDU file. That's good to know.

I really wonder sometimes why I bother putting instructions with these remotes.
Did you actually read the README file ? It specifically states in there that you must NOT report back that 'it didn't work'. That is a totally useless statement to make as it offers us no clues as to the problem.
What about the all the other questions I put in there ? What are the answers to those ?

I think we should close this one out Alan. I'm not confident that the OP really knows how to test upgrades and he definitely doesn't know how to give feedback when something doesn't work.
