Forgot how to re-enable

My remote has been programmed and working for a while. I just changed the batteries and I forgot how to re-enable the updates I had installed before. My search skills have failed me, can someone help?

What remote? Are you using an extender? You probably are, since JP1 remotes don't usually lose their programming when changing batteries.

You need to look for the activation instructions for the extender.

Thanks. I'm using a 2116 with Extender 3. You just need to hit the power button after you reset the batteries.
