Viridium wrote:it seems like right now the remote also has a keymove implemented so that when in Cable mode, the volume buttons are activating the volume on the TV.
More likely that represents a different feature of the remote (not a KeyMove).

The details vary by model of remote, but most models have some feature that can be enabled to make one device mode's Vol signals be sent by another device mode's Vol keys.

Hopefully someone will tell you the command for turning that off for your model. I don't remember the command even for the models where I once knew it.

I think this feature is called volume punch through. TV is set as the volume punch through device. I have an atlas remote at home and can post the mojo to unset it.
With an interface and IR, you can also control this feature ;-)

Viridium wrote:For the file section - OK I think I sorta understand that. I went there and just did a search for "Proview" and it turned up several hits. Two of the file formats I wasn't familiar with and didn't really show up as anything when opened in a text editor. The others were .TXT files that I was able to open. It wasn't easy to decipher them but I think I see where some of it is coming from.
In the file section you typically find two file types: 1) *.rmdu or 2) *.txt.

The .rmdu files can be read by the remote master program and displayed in a way that you can understand easily.

The .txt files can be read by the remote master program or the keymap master program and display the codes in a similar way.

You can find instructions to download and use these programs in the links in Capn Trips signature.

Thank you everybody SO MUCH for your help. My apologies that this ended up in the wrong section, but I didn't even understand at first that I was looking for a code search.

I've created a separate upgrade file for the Fluid so it's there for the next person...
