Been using JP1 remotes about 5 years without any major issues.
Need help making device upgade for this .ir file.
https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=6272
Understand pioneer can be tricky on some things.
Tried several files in file section to use pioneer pdp5080hd
(Amazing KURO HD Plasma - see black levels, etc)
and POWER, DOT, SCRN SIZE, SLEEP don't work.
Here I learned from my original remote and they work fine.
Please provide rmdu or similar/ comments welcome.

I haven't delved into it too deeply, but your RM file would be more helpful in identifying any errors you may have made in converting your learns into an upgrade. Secondly, if that 0000 upgrade is intended for your KURO, why does it use Manual Settings protocol? The regular Pioneer protocols are more than adequate. Probably will need the Pioneer 4Dev to combine all of your functions, which is a protocol upgrade, but again, without the RM file, it's too hard to reverse-engineer.

RE:
Thanks for the quick comments.
Bummer. Yes, the first thing I tried was pio-tv-pdp5080hd.zip.
https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=5416
and that is the .rmdu file that works best and I am using....
Also tried Pioneer LX-5080D ADX1551-V1.1.rmdu....
POWER, DOT, SCRN SIZE, SLEEP don't work on ANY of them.
Mostly, can anyone get DOT to work??
Or can anyone make a device upgade for the .ir file:
https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=6272
Comments/suggestions?
I have noticed others are also having trouble with PIONEER TV POWER, etc.

As far as I can see, your RM is correct relative to your learned signals (TV:2 => dot correct?), and your uploaded DEVICE upgrade in IR (assigned to the CBL device, correct?) is also correct. I question your PROTOCOL upgrade. When I take your RM file (for a URC1055 Atlas) and change it to the RS-2116, I get a different PROTOCOL upgrade than what you have. Install the upgrades that RM gives you. (01 7F)
I have no idea what that DVD upgrade is that also uses the 00 5E protocol upgrade, so for now, you're on your own there.

Is this device upgrade working at all?
First of all, where did you get the protocol upgrade? I looked at all the protocol 2117 upgrades that use 6 fixed bytes of data(your device upgrade uses 6 bytes), and couldn't find one that matches your protocol code.
Lets start with the upgrade you did open. The Atlas and the 2117 have differnt 7e codes built in. The Atlas uses 007e:3 and the 2117 uses 007e:2 so when you changed to the atlas to the 2117, RM changed your pid and asked you to add a different protocol.
I'd start over, making sure to erase that new protocol upgrade that you added.
A protocol and a device upgrade must be tailored to your remote. As a general rule, you can't use a device upgrade, nor a protocol upgrade for a different remote.
In addition, the device upgrade is designed for a specific version of a protocol.
So start over, open the suggested upgrade, change to your remote, add your functions, and then copy the device upgrade and its matching protocol upgrade into your ir file.
In addition, adding a different 7e protocol to your remote will cause all your built in Panasonic devices to misbehave.
Good Luck
