If you have learned signals that don't get decoded when you look at them in IR.exe, post your file to the Diagnosis Area then post your question here (including a link to the file).

The fact that there's no protocol upgrade means that the protocol is built-in to this remote. I know I've seen the $0161 protocol many times before, so if it's not native to KM and RM, I will add it as part of the upgrade. KM and RM are clever enough usually that they won't offer the protocol upgrade for remotes that don't need it.

Here is the manual for this remote, and here's another page with instructions and codes, and really crappy image.

And HERE is the UEIC page for the "Potenza" STB remote, with a link to a 2-page PDF de3scription.

Finally, here is the best image I could find (for anybody motivated to tailor the 30333033 rdf and map/image for this remote.)

UEI has sent me the upgrade for this, but the $0161 protocol is too big to load into a Slingbox, so I'll need to create a smaller version in order for you to have any chance of using it with the Slingbox.

If you want to try the official upgrade in your 15-135, here it is...

I found a 1-byte version of the protocol posted by Robman. It seems the older versions were 3 fixed and 1 var. The more recent version is 5 fixed and 2 var. I edited RemoteMaster's protocol.ini file to be
[pid: 01 61]
PID=01 61
Code.S3C80=43 8B 31 8B 14 83 80 80 03 08 00 00 9E 00 00 00 00 00 8E 97 B5 01 E2 01 CE 68 05 E4 06 05 69 06 20 10 37 60 09 E6 0E 2C E6 0F 5D F6 01 55 F6 FF 34 46 04 80 F6 FF 56 F6 01 73 1C 1E F6 01 4C 1C 14 F6 01 64 76 03 C0 EB 02 77 71 F6 01 70 77 70 F6 01 0A 7B E5 AF B0 C3 4C 03 28 06 F0 C2 87 53 03 02 25 F0 C5 02 25 3E 4A F4 56 C2 0F 56 06 F0 44 C2 06 AF

and then created an RMDU file here.

I then exported a slingbox PL BIN file that I uploaded here. User drdestructo has confirmed it works.

I thought I'd tackled this one before. Do you have a link to the thread where I created it?

I downloaded the PL into my slingbox and a quick test shows that it works! I don't have time to do a thorough test right now, but I can power on/off the box, change channels, and pause/play the dvr. I will do a more in depth test tomorrow and report back, but this looks great!

Thanks so much to each of you who contributed to this solution. Very Cool!

This protocol now decodes as Telefonica, but with a twist. There is a final Extra frame that shows up in the decode only when the learning process has concatenated all the frames into a single Once signal, but which is present in all the signals if you look at the raw timings. The Extra frame decodes with a subdevice value 128, while the previous frames all have 0.

This suggests that the 8-bit subdevice code is really a toggle followed by a 7-bit subdevice code. But the Extra frame is definitely not present in the "real" Telefonica files we have, nor in the Sejin Nighthawk. So should this be treated as a separate protocol? I would have trouble detecting it because of the business that DecodeIR doesn't get the Extra frame when IR treats it as such, only when IR concatenates all the frames.
