comcast remote control, changing channels

I just got a 3rd comcast digital box. After not getting the first 2 to activate they sent out a tech and while he was here he set up my remotes so I didn't have to push 3 buttons to get a different channel ie if I wanted channel 59 I just hit 59 not 059. I don't know what he did to make this happen can anyone help me out on this?

What sort of help do you need? If the tech got every thing working, aren't you all set?

I think you're looking for the Auto-Tune setting which is found under Menu, Setup, Guide Setup.
