Convert KM files to RM

This is the JP1 beginners forum. There's no such thing as a stupid question in here, so post away, but this forum is just for JP1 users and people considering JP1, non-JP1 users please use the appropriate forum above!

Convert KM files to RM

KM doesn't support my URC-7556 (URC-7555 is the same). RM does support the URC-7556 but I can;t find the RM files for my remote. RM can read KM files but I get a message that the file is for another remote. SO how can I convert KM files into RM files?

Normally, you just need to go to "Open..." in RM, change the file type to "All device upgrade files" or "KeyMapMaster device upgrade files" and then open the KM file. After opening the upgrade file, go to the pulldown for the Remote and change the remote to your model. You may need to change some button assignments if some keys are originally assigned to keys that your remote does not have.

What are the upgrade files that you are trying to use?
