Can't Find A JP1 Remote

Post by gotok »

I would like to get started with JP1, but I am having trouble finding a remote. I would like a JP1 learning remote like the URC-8910, but it seems to be virtually unavailable at this time.
1. Is the URC-8910 or comparable remote available for sale somewhere?
2. Is there a JP1 learning remote sold by a major outlet like Circuit City, Best Buy, Fry's, Walmart, etc. (i.e. can I walk into a store and buy one somewhere?)

(by JP1 remote, I mean one that has the six pin header and works with the IR and RM tools.)

Thanks for any leads.

I still have a few URC-8910 remotes left, I can let you have one for $25 plus $5 shipping if you still need one.

Rob,
Thanks, but I have already purchased a RS 15-135 and ordered the USB JP1.2/1.3 interface. After further research, I decided to go with the newest version of the interface.
