sorry about not reading beginners post and have updated my original one.
after more research i have discovered that the model of the original remote is hrmc-6.it was used on the hughes HIRD-D25,hird-e86 and e8 models.
still need obc/efc/hex values for input and alpha keys only off original remote to change resolution.thanks!

The model of the OEM remote is of little use.
7. Checked the file section?
This is more of a checklist item than a real question. The assumption is that you have checked the file section to see if someone else has created an upgrade for this device but didn't find one. Please provide more details if this is not the case. AND REMEMBER, you don't always need to find the exact model that you have as many manufacturers use the same codeset for all models of a device.

If you have tested the upgrades for similar models and they didn't work, please say so in your post. If you found an upgrade that partially works, please post a link to it. DO NOT refer to upgrades by the setup code number that was used as this is meaningless.
If you read the above, then you would have tested this file and reported that you had done so.

This upgrade uses all of the OBCs between 002 and 025, so I would suggest testing other OBCs between 000 and 031 that are unused. That failing, I would expand the search through 063.

Otherwise, if those additional functions use potentially different Device or Subdevice numbers, a brute-force search could last a LOOOONG time, unless you can find an OEM remote and capture the signals.

(Can you go to a store that sells these units with your 8811 and learn the missing signals from an in-store remote?)

sorry about that, guess i missed it. i used robmans Hughes HIRD Satellite file in downloads which all work but is missing code for alpha(.) and input keys. wanted codes to test reciever for functionallity.just purchased new hi-def tv with correct inputs and reciever tested ok,so am getting remote off ebay to capture codes.also after reading manual 4 times i found that the outputs can be changed by pressing the up arrow and guide on the front panel.
