Thomson IR code

Post by fis2000 »

Could you please post here a link to or send me the IR code for the THOMSON DCI-1000?
I red somewhere that this code is C2009 (is it?...).
I've been looking a lot for it but with no success...

Thank you.

Well, there is a Thomson Cable box upgrade in the file section, but of course you have no way of upoading it to your remote. It uses the Thomson protocol and Device 3, which is not present in ANY remote.

You need a cable and then you can modify that upgrade and upload it to your remote.

I'm not sure I follow what you really mean...
What I actually need is a BIN file to place in the SBAV folder of SlingPlayer (I'm using SlinkBox), so I can uplaod the matching IR code into the software (By writing the code number, C2009 probably, in the "other" code field).
Can the file you linked help me? If yes, How?

Well, if you read your previous posts, you might notice that you have not once mentioned Slingbox, so I presumed you wanted your URC-39720 remote (Force right?) to control the Thomson box.

As for creating a BIN, you need to go to the Slingbox forum and read the sticky post there about creating BIN files for Slingbox, but you would need to start with the file I linked for you, and use the free software program RemoteMaster (see the software forum) to convert it to a BIN.
