Suppose I have a working .bin or .rmdu file for a sony dvp-cx985v and one for a samsung dvd/vcr combo. Now I want to combine them on one remote file intended for slingbox_ju. So i can use button functions for both devices using the one slingbox remote device input.

Bottom line: It cannot be done.

Although using the software tools here one CAN combine upgrades for multiple devices into a single upgrade (in RM choose the Device Combiner Protocol), this protocol does not work with Slingbox.

Thank you capn. I want to give it a try anyway. How do you use the "device combiner protocol"?

In RemoteMaster, Device Combiner is one of the protocols you can select for most remotes. It is not available when you select Slingbox as your remote.
