I have a 15-1995 with extender. In IR at the bottom of the page there are 2 upgrade memory bars. I ran out of upgrade memory but the lower bar still showed 506 free. Is this for a larger chip in the remote or how do I access this larger upgrade memory?
Thanks, just4fn _________________ thanks, just4fn |

I think you'll have to post a copy of your IR file in order for us to picture what you're talking about. _________________ Rob

Rob, just open a blank instance of IR and select the 1995 as your remote. You will see TWO distinct Upgrade memory area "fuel gauges" at the bottom of the General sheet.
I know I have seen this before with other remote signatures, I think it occurs in several old 740-processor models, but none that I use, so I've never bothered trying to figure out what these two distinct upgrade memory areas may be. _________________ Beginners - Read this thread first

Silly me, I thought I had done exactly that but I see now that I misfired and selected the 15-1994 by mistake.
To move an upgrade from the upper line of memory to the lower line of memory you need to edit it and change "works with <all devices>" to a specific device, and uncheck the "Include in device independant section as well" checkbox. _________________ Rob
