URC-6011, 8811, 8011 sizes?
I need to replace a very worn-out URC-6011 that has served me well for several years. My wife is very familiar with it, so she wants the same remote. But after looking at Robman's remotes for sale, I'm wondering if I shouldn't get a 8011 for the same price as a 6011. How do the physical sizes of these two remotes compare? I also own an 8811, and my wife complains that that one is too big (she's always saying stuff like that). So, is the 8011 similar in size to the 6011, or is it more like the size of the 8811, or somewhere in between? I can't find actual dimensions on these remotes anywhere on this site or the web.

That's quite possible, and since I can't seem to get to the OFA website from here at work I can't double-check.johnsfine wrote:I think Mark is mistaken about that.
My reply was based on my thinking that the 801x was just a non-learning version of the 881x. I guess it's possible that it's really an 8-device version of the 601x.
Will the real remote please stand up?!?!

The URC-6011, URC-8011 and URC-6131 are all exactly the same size. You can even swap the lower half of the shells between the models if you like.
