Firefly Mini code search

Post by jc4715 »

The only other search was locked for some unstated reason, so I'll try again:

1. Device: SnapStream Firefly Mini
2. Type of device: PC software control
3. Year: 2006
4. UEI Remote model: 8910
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? yes
6. Still have original remote? yes
7. Checked the file section? yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? yes
9. Partially working setup code? no
10. Learning remote question? haven't tried yet, hoping y'all can save me the time/effort.

Thanks!

I don't tend to argue against that as an initial approach (other experts here do).

But you should have already seen Rob's answer at
https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewt ... 9442#p49442

At this point, there is virtually no chance that trying to avoid the time/effort of learning will end up taking less time/effort than simply doing the learning.

So would you please share you upgrade in the file section and post a link to it here so others can benefit from your efforts?

Thanks.

I would but I don't have a cable to upload it. I'll get one one of these days.
