When I download from my remote(URC8910) in IR I get the error message "Protocol list not found after device list". I can't find any other reference to that error message, anyone know what the cause may be?
I am using a parallel cable, IR verifies the connection and the download even displays the setup codes for my devices, but no macros or learned keys.
Any help would be appreciated...

Do you have the proper rdf files available to IR.exe?
If so, it sounds like some sort of corrupted data in your EEPROM's upgrade section of it's memory.
Can you save your downloaded IR file and post it to the diagnostics area? Someone may have a way to salvage your setup.
If your current setup is not so complex and irretrievable that you cannot readily reproduce it in IR, I would suggest conducting an MFR reset (which will clear all of the EEPROM settings and restore it to factory defaults).
Save your downloaded IR setup regardless, then press and hold the setup button. After the remote is in programming mode, push the "record" button and follow the prompts on the LCD display.
Afterwards, download again and see if you have the same problem.

You should upload the offending IR file to the diagnosis area and post a link to it here. Someone might find a problem in how you're building the keymove(s).
