9910 doesn't support extender?

My 15-2104 is finally breaking down thru abuse (thanks to having little kids) so it's time to get a new remote. I'm looking at the 9910 but according to RemoteChart.xls it doesn't have extender support. However, the 8910 does.

I thought from researching in the forums here that the 2 remotes are identical other than the RF part. Is that true? If so, is the spreadsheet inaccurate in saying the 9910 doesn't have extender support?

The remotes are, indeed, identical from that perspective, and the 9910 most certainly supports the 8910 extenders. (In fact, IR cannot tell them apart)

I don't know about the spreadsheet. Hopefully it's author/maintainer will correct it when he sees this post.
