Hi:
I found this file on the Web to make my Sony DVD multi region. I have an URC-8811 and a JP1 cable.
How can I program my 8811 with this codes?
Thanks

"This works with a Pronto remote, use ProntoEdit for the codes...
- Program individual hex-code (below) into five chosen buttons
- Put your DVD-player to standby mode (main power on and red light
above it)
- Push programmed buttons sequentially from one to five (the player
starts up)
- Do it again: Push programmed buttons sequentially from one to five
(the player goes back to standby)
The player should now be multiregion!
Here are the hex-codes:

All of the info you need to make the upgrade is right there.
Create an upgrade using the Sony20 protocol, Device 26, subdevice 73. The "Functions" listed are the OBCs you enter in your KM/RM upgrade.
The rest of thyat stuff is what you would use in a Pronto remote, and the only thing we use Pronto hex for is to decode it, but the decode information is all there already.
