try all those combinations
I tried it all my light blinks twice, but no download from the remote, no tabs nothing.

The two blinks usually are a good sign that the remote has properly communicated.
What does "no tabs" mean? Is there at least a "raw data" tab?
Have you downloaded the latest RDF zip file? If so, have you unzipped it and told IR where to find the rdf files? IR will not display any of the "usual" tabs (General, Keymove, Macro, Device Upgrade, ...) if the IR program cannot locate the appropriate RDF file. But you would still have a single tab (the aforementioned "raw data" tab).
Absolultely no tabs is next to impossible, I believe, in IR.
