RM and RC-5/RC-5x Combo Protocol

Hello All,

I am trying to port the file https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... ile_id=456
from KM to RM but I am having some trouble.

If I start with "File-New", then setup the protocol etc., then switch to the "functions" tab and enter the hex "0E FC" for function "0", "0E F8" for function "1", but when I get to "0E F4" for function "2" the functions tab locks up, the rest of RM still works but no more use of the functions tab.

To port the file over I have also tried just opening it with RM but it doesn't import any of the functions. I have also tried entering the codes for the functions in boxes other than the hex box but it has the same effect, in fact it happens with just about every code when I do it that way.

I am using RM V1.40, any idea how to get this working ?

I just confirmed that both failures occur for me also:

If you try to open that KM file with RM you get nothing.

If you follow the steps you described to type in the contents of the upgrade the functions tab dies.

I'm a distant second best for investigating this bug and don't have time at the moment anyway. Hopefully Greg will fix it. But if he doesn't get to it, I'll try fixing it, probably this weekend.

RM's support for the RC-5/5x Combo Protocol has been fixed in RemoteMaster v1.41.

Wow, have fully tested it tonight and all it well. Super quick bug fix, if only every software producer could go at it like you, donation has been left.
