This page shows both the 2116 and 2117 at a price of $29.99 each, and in stock for online purchase. Plus, they seem to be offering FREE shipping on all orders over $25 for the holidays!.

I never ordered off their website. Do they charge tax?. If not with free shipping that is a great deal that I may have to take advantage of since I only have one 2116 and it may be worthwhile to back it up with a couple of 2117'sMark Pierson wrote:Maybe RS needs a new webmaster!

The way tax works on the net is like this: If the seller is just based in one location, he only has to collect sales tax when the buyer is from his state. For sellers like Radio Shack, Best Buy, etc who have locations in every state, hey collect tax from everyone.
Here's a bit that I bet you didn't know though. When you buy from an out of state online seller who doesn't collect sales tax from you, you are supposed to pay a "use tax" yourself! (I'm serious)

Good bet, I didn't know that. Thank god I keep the money in my pocket just incase the government ever asks for it. I think that is the safest place to hold it for them. The Robman wrote: Here's a bit that I bet you didn't know though. Wow...$95 to replace the simple remote from my Denon DVD player! I guess if you REALLY need the OEM remote, this might be your solution.Mark Pierson wrote:The new link at the top of the RS remotes page is interesting. You can find many OEM remotes from a company called Vance Baldwin Electronics.
