I need to know if this remote from a Sky Digibox, an URC-1610-10, which does not have any obvious JP1 connection.Anyone knows how to hook this remote for Jp1?
A picture from it is attached:

There's no EEPROM, so there's no way to know if the chip is programmed to support one. _________________ Rob

From looking here, it looks like your remote can probably have JP1 added to it.
As well as the 6 pin header and memory device, I think you'll also need to add two surface mount resistors (located in the spaces at the top right of your first photo) as these are present on the other remote. You already have the 104 and 474 resistors, plus the capacitor fitted, so it's a fair bet that two 103 resistors should do the trick. |
