toolpak error

using xp .. and am getting toolpak error ( not compatable etc )

when using km

You'll need to be more specific.

The first thing to check is that the Toolpak is installed and enabled. Goto Tools, Add-Ins..., and make sure Analysis Toolpak and Analysis Toolpak - VBA are in the list AND checked. If they're not in the lists, you need to install then using the Office installation CD.

If KM is displaying an error message, what is the exact wording?

I had to put a check mark in the tools menu ..
