As I get ready to program my HTPro, I opened up the KM8.31 excel file and I get this message on start up:

"This workbook has lost its VBA project, ActiveX controls and other programmability related features"

The Analysis, Analysis VBA, Solver, Lookup, addins are all active.

I've used this file before successfully for my URC7800 -- so not sure what I changed (or what I changed).

Thanks,
Byas

Download a fresh copy of KM and try it again.

Turns out to be an Excel problem. I get the above message when I open excel (without opening a file). Where would activeX have been turned off on my system? How can i check to see if that is the case and turn it back on?
Thanks,
Byas

If you're using WinXP SP2, check the settings in the Security Center regarding ActiveX controls. This is the first I've ever heard of such an error, so I can't offer much other advice.

I uninstalled office and reinstalled and that seems to have solved the problem.
