RobMan..I have one of you Mod'd urc 6131's and I also own a netgear mp101. I downloaded your upgrade for the 101 but I keep getting a protocol error that the remote does not support the selected protocol....can you shed some light? Thanks |

Upgrade Link
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=996
I am using RM 1.14. I open the RM, and try and load the upgrade file and get the following message:
"Selected protocol "Manual Setting" (01 2a) is not compatible with the
selected remote. This upgrade will NOT function correctly. Please
choose a different protocol."
I do not have an extender. |

Will this also work if I install the extender to the 6131? |

Yes, with a little bit of work. Because of the way the extender in the 6131 works, the format for keymoves changes when the extender is installed. This just means that you'll have to go into RM/KM and change the selected remote to the 6131 w/ extender, and then copy'n'paste the upgrades into IR again. Note that you really only have to do this if your upgrades generate keymoves. _________________ -- Greg

Any idea if the netgear mp101 has discrete on/off codes |
