MP 101 For RobMan
RobMan..I have one of you Mod'd urc 6131's and I also own a netgear mp101. I downloaded your upgrade for the 101 but I keep getting a protocol error that the remote does not support the selected protocol....can you shed some light? Thanks
Please provide more details:
Provide a link to the upgrade.
Are using RM or KM?
What is the exact text of the message, and exactly (step by step) what did you do to get it?
Are you using the extender with your 6131?

I am using RM 1.14. I open the RM, and try and load the upgrade file and get the following message:
"Selected protocol "Manual Setting" (01 2a) is not compatible with the
selected remote. This upgrade will NOT function correctly. Please
choose a different protocol."
I do not have an extender.

You've encountered a bug in RM's import routine. I was able to work around it. Try Netgear MP101.rmdu

Yes, with a little bit of work. Because of the way the extender in the 6131 works, the format for keymoves changes when the extender is installed. This just means that you'll have to go into RM/KM and change the selected remote to the 6131 w/ extender, and then copy'n'paste the upgrades into IR again. Note that you really only have to do this if your upgrades generate keymoves.
