I have one of these remotes for my NAD T752. It has a JP1-like plug (10 pin) on the back, and I downloaded an application from the NAD web site that looks similar to the IR.EXE program we use for our JP1 remotes. The upload/download functions work through a COM port.
My question, does anyone know what cable is required, and who to get it from? Barring that, anyone know the pinout so I can build one of these cables myself?
Thanks!
-Mike

Hi!
I have the same problem. I have few NADs HiFi equipment and TV + PVR and to use all of that I am using 3 remote controls. I have already NAD remote control but it is not HTR-2 but my remote is very similar to HTR-2. I like very much the NAD idea, simple without disco

I want to buy this HTR-2 but with PC-Kit. I received information form NAD distributor that this cable "is not just a cable, it is a small printed circuit board with surface mount components including IC's inside the largish RS232 Serial Port Plugs plastic cover, and is of course only made in small quantities so unfortunately is expensive to make" So it cost £50!! This is a lot of money for remote which cost £50 too.
Now, I have the same question. It is possible to made self this cable? Does anybody know the schema? Or anybody try to connect this by JP1?
Second question is for users NAD HTR-2? How it is working? You are happy with this? And if you can choose between HTR-2 and Kameleon 6 in 1 then what you will choose?
Best regards, Grandpapa
Sorry 4 my english, I am still learning
