Post by aslovik »

I recently got this message from keymap-master:

This signal contains a section that IR doesn't know how to analyze. Please save this data and post it in the diagnostics section of the jp1 group, and post a message indicating that you have done so.

What shoudl I post exactly? The raw data? How? Where?

Put a copy of the .IR file in the Diagnosis Area, and after you have done that, come back here and post a link to it, but first make sure you read the instructions of posting links to Yahoo files (link in my sig).

Post that only if you need help with it. The message in IR was written back when we thought that type of learned signal was less common and less likely to be correct than we now understand.

IR.exe should try to decode the signal anyway (list a protocol, device, subdevice, and OBC). If it does so and they are reasonable, then that's all the info you need from the learned signal.
