Latest guides / HowTo's?

I've been out of the JP1 picture for a while now and thought I'd catch up a bit.
I just wanted to check with you all as to what are some of the newer how-to's and guides that you guys are using to setup that perfect remote?

I was trying to setup my 9910 but got so bogged down with the toad/tog that I just ran out of time to finish my setup. In hopes of reducing the pile of remotes, I just added one more to it. So, I want to get back in the groove and finish where I left off. I noticed that some of the tools are upgraded to a newer version. Is there anything that would actually make this setup easier? I know - you're thinking that doing this is easy. Well I wish I could say the same. It wasn't all that fun and sure was time-consuming.

Anyway, I hope you guys can point me in the right direction (again) and I can finally have that perfect setup remote I always wanted.
