Do U C anything obviously wrong with my homebuilt jp1 cable

I can't get my cable to work with my remote. "No response from interface."

Please take a look and tell me if you immediately spot something wrong with this cable...

I used the instructions here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/jp1/simple/

For your consideration, I also have an 8800 Producer 8 remote if that lends anything to a diagnosis.

Thanks for your help!

Have you tried both with and without batteries in the remote?

Right off the bat I notice that you're using 10k resistors, where the current spec calls for 1k resistors.

The most up to date spec is here...

Please don't PM me with remote questions, post them in the forums so all the experts can help!

Hi. Right off the bat :) *I* noticed you should consider cutting the resistor leads a little shorter or using some heat shrink tubing the next time. If component leads touch each other or touch a metal casing, they will short.
