I'd like to know what happens when you properly setup the key move with the 2-byte hex command AND disable the VPT.
I either stumped the expert
Considering I've never even seen a 1995, that's not too difficult!

Here I go quoting myself again! ;)

While I'd still like to know if the above works, it just occurred to me after re-reading this message and looking at the SA-HE200 upgrade file, that the volume controls use Panasonic:160.0. Setup code AMP_TUNER/0308 in the 1995 uses 1-byte commands that you can try for the key move(s). Set them up as follows:

Bound Device: SAT
Bound Key: Vol+
Device Type: AMP/TUNER
Setup Code: 0308
EFC: 213

Repeat for Vol- = EFC: 217, and Mute = EFC: 151

Mark,

I deleted VPT and put in the 2 byte hex command. It didn't work. I then set it up like you suggested with setup code 0308 and.....son of a gun it worked like a champ!

Man, that is cool. It seems so obvious when you know the answer. :D

I am curious though why you think it didn't work with the 2 byte code.

many thanks for all the help!
Tom
