I have a chance to get an old RS 15-100 and i see that it also has an extender.
Just wanted to know if there is any known problems/complications with
this remote. Seems like it would be nice with the extender since it has
LDKP I could definately make use of that
Anyone have any experience with this remote

I believe the RS 15-100 requires hardware modification to support JP1. See http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=5127 and http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=6262

Yeah, the only problem with the 15-100, which is unique to this one remote, is that even though it has pads for a 6-pin, there's no opening in the casing for it. Some folks (mostly Tommy) came up with various hardware mods to try and fashion a usable 6-pin connector for it. All I did was solder thin wires to the pads with a 6-pin hanging loose at the bottom of the remote, but I never intended to use mine as a remote, I just bought it for the hacking effort.
