With JP1 installed and new 2k eprom, what is the reset code?

I saw a reset sequence once before but I can't find it now. It was to make sure the eprom was seen by the remote, I think.

I do not yet have my JP1 cable but I wanted to be ready once it arrives.

The only information I can find now is a 981 factory reset. Is this the one?

What is the exact sequence for this reset? I want to know every key that I will need to press.

For a non-LCD remote, 981 is the reset code.

Press and hold the setup button untill the LED blinks twice. Then enter 9 8 1. You should see 2 quick blinks of the LED, followed by another set of 2 quick blinks.
