If you can see this post, we have completed moving the forum to the new server.

There will be a few posts missing, but don't worry, I will copy them over manually.

Can't seem to get to my profile. Just getting a blank page.

Other links seem to be ok.

The little arrow to the left of the thread name that is supposed to go to the unread posts fails with a "webpage not found" error.

I can't see that arrow anywhere, could you take a screen shot?

Just FYI, the old server was on PHP 5.2.17 and the new one is on 5.4.45, which is quite a big jump, and some of the code in this forum is very old, so it might require some tweaking along the way.

The good news is that it works OK this morning. Maybe it was just some database that needed populating and it happened in the background. Here is the image, just so you know what I was talking about. The pop-up you see when you hover your cursor over the arrow is "View newest post", it isn't actually the newest post but the first post that is after your last viewing. I use this all the time:

Rob, I have just made my first post on the new server. Although it worked, I got a long series of error messages which started:
Warning: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected the timezone 'UTC' for now, but please set date.timezone to select your timezone. in /home/robman94/public_html/ofa/forums/includes/emailer.php on line 195

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/robman94/public_html/ofa/forums/includes/emailer.php:195) in /home/robman94/public_html/ofa/forums/posting.php on line 590
The remaining messages appeared to be repeats of this second warning but with a different line number.

Edit: Needless to say, the same thing happened when I posted this message  .

thanks for capturing that, I got the same thing myself yesterday and then when I tried to repeat it to get a screen shot, it didn't happen.

And, just FYI, I am working on the profile thing as we speak.

So, it's been quiet all day, how are things looking? This move was a lot more work that I was counting on, as I've been working on it for the last 2 weeks now, on and off, so hopefully everything is looking good.
