Signal Duration for NEC LT260K & DaLite Screen on 9910

Post by rcoreilly »

I'm having trouble changing the signal duration for the power on/off commands for my NEC LT260K projector, and my electric DaLite Screen up/down commands, both of which must be held for around 1 sec to work. I have a 9910 and, based on reading other posts, have tried using the device combiner protocol without success: when a key is pressed using DC, the transmit led on the remote just "hangs" in a constant-on state, regardless of the duration I assign to the key. These codes have been verified to work outside of the device combiner protocol if I hold them down long enough. Could there be some problem with device combiner and the 9910? It is specifically a very recently purchased URC-9910B01. I definitely uploaded both the protocol and device each time..

I'm using RM v.95 and RDF's 1.14. For the NEC LT260 I'm using the http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jp1/files ... 0_8910.txt file from lfmiller00 and for the DaLite I used learned codes that were RECS80(45), device 0, bound to the up & down arrows for raising/lowering the screen, which produces this code in RM:

Upgrade code 0 = c4 ee (Misc Audio/1262)
45 00 07 e0
f8 f4
END

If there is some way to change these protocols directly to include a signal repeat, that would be great & would take less memory than using DC. Any help on either front would be much appreciated. Thanks!

It might help if you posted your saved RM file (.rmdu) and IR file (.txt) in the diagnosis folder.

Ok, my .txt and .rmdu files are uploaded as:
dalite_diag.zip
this is for the simplest case of the DaLite screen up/down commands using device combiner. The learned codes for the screen are under the AUX device in the .txt file, and I mapped this 1263 device to the CD player for testing because it was otherwise unused. Thanks!

I just learned that the Device Combiner support in RM isn't quite complete. So, the Protocol Upgrade Code isn't correct. The Device Upgrade Code should be correct.

I'm going on vacation for a week, so it'll be at least a week before RM will generate a the Protocol Upgrade Code correctly.

In the meantime, here's the Upgrade Protocol Code KM generates:

Code: Select all

Upgrade Protocol 0 = 01 44 (S3C8+)
 00 00 22 08 06 96 10 04 90 05 6B 03 E4 05 0D 38
 04 2C FF E7 62 45 E7 32 44 E3 42 E3 52 1C 03 E3
 72 D7 17 1E A2 36 3B F7 97 01 FF 06 D9 02 56 94
 BF C6 CA 01 00 C6 C2 23 82 70 C3 70 C2 C6 DA 44
 78 1F 44 13 46 49 00 45 E0
End
