I really liked 8.13 tooo.

I have something to add to your next list. The pause and record are reversed for the URC8060. Sorry, I just found out about it a few minutes ago.

No hurry, knowing solves it.

Couldn't we just get UEI to redesign the remote? Rolling Eyes

Do you mean that the location in the key maps (KM's Layout sheet) are reversed? Or are the button codes reversed?

Sorry, should have been clearer but I was on my way out to eat.

It looks like the button codes are reversed. Whatever is assigned to pause get assigned to record and visa versa in IR when pasted

Good thinking, why change perfectly good working code. I will have my lawyer send a note off immediately.

Actually, I think it's both. A device upgrade doesn't use button codes since they're assigned by position within the key map. Since a paste into IR reverses those 2 buttons, the KM key map needs to be changed. I'll double-check this myself tonight when I get home to be sure. I do believe the button codes are incorrect as well, and will check them too.

Richard was testing some ToadTogs he had that were not working and he went back to basics and re-learned the record function with the 8060 and the learn showed up on the pause key. He reversed it and the pause learn showed up on the record button.

I am not sure if this is the button map or the button assignments in the RDF. I changed the RDF and going from RM to IR it looks right but going from KM to IR is does not look right.

I have no way to test the actual remote until tonight when I get home. I will let you know what I find.

Mark, it looks like it is definitely the RDF. I changed the RDF and made an RM and KM upgrade with just the 2 buttons Pause and Record and pasted them both into IR and they were identical and correct.
