|
Hei all,
I ve tried with the 200 custom codes in the slingbox but no luck
Search internet without luck neither, i know the Venton HD-100S is in the logitech harmony one supported list, as i have it installed on my harmony.
1. Device: Venton HD 100S
2. Type of device: Satellite PVR receiver
3. Year: 2009
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: Dont know, try to search but no luck
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? No
6. Still have original remote? Yes i do
7. Checked the file section? yes not available
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? yes not available
9. Partially working setup code? no
10. Learning remote question? I have a logitech harmony one which is supporting the device
11. Have you tried the JP1 Lookup Tool? yes not available
I did an internal search on Venton but couldnt find anything
I tried with custom remote tool but couldnt get access to the tool, neither my friends
There is very little known about the device,
here is a link the website: www.venton.de, but i hope we can work with the logitech harmony information
Your input is much appreciated.

Found a match and recorded the IR signals with the JP1 tools to create the respective files.

Yes, that's because the actual upgrade is installed on the Slingbox itself. This allows any client Slingplayer client to properly control your external device(s). Even though the triggers within the different clients may not have a resemblance, they facilitate the same IR functions as far as the Slingbox is concerned.

Check the RMDU file to get an idea of where they are associated. There is no way to rename the commands or alter their appearance in the client software. The buttons you're seeking are probably associated to another button. Also not all functions are represented on the buttons of the on-screen remote. There are drop down lists in the Slingplayer's command bar for less common commands.
Also for this upgrade, we are limited to the available commands from the Harmony Database. Since you already have the IR profile installed onto your Harmony remote, you already know which commands are present and missing.

Yes, if you are unsatisfied with the button to function assignments then I recommend going down that path. |

BIN file Instructions.
Customization instructions:Note: There was a slight variation in how the Venton HD100S and HD200S addressed the Volume, Page, Channel, Direction commands. So, the upgrade may need to be customized a little bit. _________________ Remotes; JP1.2: Comcast URC-1067, JP1.3: Insignia NS-RC02U-10A, JP1.4 OARI06G, JP2.1: Cox URC-8820-MOTO (still trying to figure out how to make them self-aware.) |
