Afterwards, I had to recreate the functions. Apparently, when this is set appropriately, the numbers in the original upgrade will reflect the actual values when importing into your JP1 device. I've upload the new files as v1.1 with the changes implemented as above.

Sorry for the late reply its been a busy week, I’ve tried your files and I can’t seem to get the 900 key to work the STB has no reaction after the key is pressed. I downloaded the RMDU file I replaced the section you have mentioned above so it looks like;

Then move the keys to the correct buttons so they would work with the remote skin this didn’t work.

So I tried creating my own one and it still couldn’t get it to work still the STB was unresponsive.

I went back your file I tried moving the 900 key to other key that did work still no good.

Any suggestion on what might be going wrong have I missed something?

Okay, I apologize for that since the code was extracted from Rob's RMDU for the 900 key. According to your response, the only key you reported having problems with his version was the "Green/D" key. Since Rob's "Videotron.rmdu" file defined the "Seach" function as Device 31 and OBC 23 and that matched the respective learn in your "2.ir" file, I assumed that his definition for the 900 key was also correct since it was also set to device 31. But it seems that either both keys should actually be assigned device 28, or you weren't through in your test and/or report.

At this point, I want you to verify all the buttons in my v1.1 bin files without any manipulation to make sure that the upgrade works as programmed in the respective RMDU file. I realize the 900 key doesn't respond accordingly but because of the confusion of "who's on first, what's on second, and I don't know is on third" all the keys need to be reverified. Not just one or two keys that you're focusing on but all the keys in the upgrade and then we can work from there.

Alright, if the keys are all working correctly then I don't see the need to do anything else.

loljk. I'm assuming the problem still exists with the "900" button. Looking its learn from your 1.ir file, the remote is emitting three separate signals with the fourth one be chopped off. Most likely the runt is due to the size limit of your remote's the learn capability. I took the liberty of highlighting the lead-in and lead-out pairs to give you an easy indication of where each signal begins and ends. The data pairs alternates between blue and green.

According to DecodeIR, the Panasonic Old protocol utilizes the following IRP notation {57.6k,833}<1,-1|1,-3>(4,-4,D:5,F:6,~D:5,~F:6,1,-???)+". This defines two possible values in the data streams 0 and 1 and if I'm not mistaken they should equal "+840 -846" and "+840 -2558" respectively. So, if we perform a search and replace on the values appropriately, we should get the following.

Now, if we group 5 bits for Device, 6 bits for Function, then 5 bits for Inverse of Device and 6 bits for the Inverse of Function then we should have.

Since this is a Least Significant Bit (LSB) protocol, the binary values need to read backwards. As opposed Most Significant Bit (MSB) protocols which are read like standard binary numbers.

1. Device: 27, OBC: 24

3. Device: 27, OBC: 25
4. Device: 27 OBC: 25 (Runt)

And according to your other learns OBC 24 = "9" key and OBC 25 = "0" key. This would indicate that the remote has a macro programmed to emit "9", "9", "0" and possibly another "0" when you press the "900" button. This would mean my original assessment of the 900 button being a trigger is incorrect. Unfortunately, since you cannot program macros onto a Slingbox, you will not be able to duplicate that function in the bin files. Sorry.
