5. Do you have a JP1 cable? yes
6. Still have original remote? no

I tried the code for the jd-vd135 and it didn't work. The 135 looks like one of those generic DVD players that sell for about twenty bucks and the 130 looks totally different. This player doesn't have any navigation buttons on the case so all I can do is "open" "close" "stop" and the "menu" button is locked so I'm stuck with subtitles.

I found a support page for this player, maybe you could post there asking if anyone has captured the remote signals using Lirc or a Pronto.

You do this much like you did with the JD-vd135. You open KM or RM, change the remote to the MIL4, give it a setup code, pick Nec1, Dev 0How do I try nec1 dev0 on my mil4?
and then put some the EFC's that go with a these codes, copy it to IR, assign it to a device, upload it to your remote and see if your DVD player responds when you push the button.
I gave you numbers before, but with a DVD player I should have given you navigational keys to try, since a cheapy DVD player might not use the numbers.
Try these Nec1 Dev 0 codes

populating the other fields
I got the arrow keys to work using the top set of EFCs. Is there a way to know which EFCs to assign to the other buttons or is it just trial and error?
This is interesting but I am ignorant of this stuff.

Re: jWIN JD-VD130 DVD player
Found a match and recorded the IR signals with the JP1 tools to create the respective files.rrodscott01 wrote:1. Device: jWIN JD-VD130

Remotes; JP1.2: Comcast URC-1067, JP1.3: Insignia NS-RC02U-10A, JP1.4 OARI06G, JP2.1: Cox URC-8820-MOTO (still trying to figure out how to make them self-aware.)
