Slingbox IR for Intek Digital STB

Post by rodhenry »

Can anyone help me!

I always find a slingbox remote control at Internet, specialy here.
But now I have a Intek Digital box to install and I didn't find anything about this brand related to slingbox.

Thanks in Advanced!

Since you did not provide a model number for the Intek Satellite Receiver, I am going to assume that you're using the HD-S10CS. That's the default model when looking up Intek Satellite Receivers in the Logitech Harmony Database. I recorded the IR signals from the respective device profile and created the following files with the JP1 tools. BIN file Instructions. Customization instructions :
Remotes; JP1.2: Comcast URC-1067, JP1.3: Insignia NS-RC02U-10A, JP1.4 OARI06G, JP2.1: Cox URC-8820-MOTO (still trying to figure out how to make them self-aware.)

I have the same problema and I'll try the solution you have provided and return.

Does it work for you?

I'm is SP, Brazil. My cable tv provider is TV Alphaville and the model of Intek Decoder is HDPV-C20CV

I hope the above file(s) works for you, because the look up tool for the Logitech Harmony Database (http://www.logitech.com/harmony/components) does not indicate the IR profile is available for the Intek HDPV-C20CV satellite receiver.

I've made some suggestions for this over at http://answers.slingbox.com/thread/13973?tstart=0

Eferz: We need to figure out some way of avoiding duplication if people insist on asking for help in both places :)
