I've built and released RemoteMaster v1.68

Changes for v1.68
  • Fix importing of KM upgrades that use the NEC 2DEV Combo or NEC 4DEV Combo protocol
  • After loading a device upgrade with external functions, remove any matching keymoves that may have been imported (RMIR)
  • Fix for button names being replaced by keycodes after adding keymoves (RMIR)
  • Fix for Other Settings where the value in the EEPROM image isn't in the set of allowed values as defined in the RDF (RMIR)
  • Add file name and timestamp to rmaster.err when loading/importing files.

Enhancement request: Copy of all the data out of the Functions sheet currently does not copy the headings. Is it possible to add, please.

Why do you want to copy headings?

In situations where I copy data from the functions sheet, including the headings would make it much harder to use.

Then perhaps it could be an option. Why?
Let's say I've copied this out of RM into Notepad
subtitle 150 163 175 153 54 93
angle 160 163 175 153 181 52
play 254 none none 163 158 86

And I only want to put Function name and EFC codes into KM.
But I already closed up RM. Oops, which of these was EFC? Not obvious to me especially with totally unknown device and protocol.

Simple help

Could you put a link to a help file associated with RM Thanks.

There's already a link in Beginners - read this thread first, and at RemoteMaster's home page, and in Remote Master's Readme.html (which, BTW, is included in the RM .zip file, and linked in the announcement post).

Do you have suggestions for another place to put the link?

They all point you to JP1 - Just How Easy Is It (RM Version)?.
